Golf instruction begins at TDC as early as age 5. In addition to private lessons with one of our two PGA pros, we also offer four camps throughout the year, one during Spring Break and the remaining three during Summer. When ready, players may participate in the JPL (Junior Player League) Prep Program. This group meets every Wednesday afternoon. Time is split between drills at the putting green/driving range and on course instruction. Once they have gained a reasonable amount of experience, players are eligible to take a Bag Tag Test, whereby they must score 21 or less on par 3/4/5. When successful, they may graduate to the Junior Players League. The Junior Players League offers a fun and competitive environment that allows the golfers of tomorrow a chance to hone their skills and begin to gain comfort in a tournament setting. Players are divided by age group (8-10, 11-12, and 13 and older). This group meets every Wednesday morning at 7am throughout the Summer. Competitors earn points each week based upon their performance. Prizes are awarded to the top weekly finishers as well as the overall season champions.
